Trip advisor is a web site where people can look for hotels, flights, activities for a given city or country. People post their personal experiences with the given hotels, activities, etc.
How can you use it?
This site can be used in social studies & Language Arts- have students create a brochure for a city or country. For math class have students find the cost of a trip to a given country: flight, hotel costs.
Why would you use it?
A benefit of this tool is that it requires the students to read other people's responses to a given place or activity. Helps teach the difference betweeh objective and subjective statements.
